Just how much of the internet's traffic is generated by bots?
A nofollow tag is an HTML attribute of the link tag used to instruct search engines not to follow a specific link. This means that the link does not pass any SEO value or ranking signals to the destination page. Nofollow tells search engines not to pass link equity, but it doesn’t guarantee they won’t crawl the link.
To implement a nofollow tag, you add the rel="nofollow" attribute to the HTML of the link. The tag looks like this:
<a href="https://www.example.com" rel="nofollow">Example Link</a>
